Working off an original photo, Artist, John Rossi, hand  draws the lighthouse onto art paper.  Great attention to detail is adhered to, which reflects the true image of the lighthouse.

The end result of the hand drawn image is duplicated into a four color print  Each print is individually mounted on 1" thick composite wood and are hand sawed silhouette dye cut.  The edges of the replica are painted black.

All work is authentically made in America.

The seven lighthouses that are still along the Hudson River remind visitors of the important role the river played as a commercial waterway.

From the Stony Point Lighthouse built in 1826 to the Rondout Lighthouse in Kingston built in 1915.  They have played an important part in Hudson River history.

The Rockland Lake Lighthouse was dismantled in the 1930's.

The Statue of Liberty was a beacon of safety to shipping in New York Harbor.  It was dedicated in 1886.
